I've not got the specs on the PC as it is a gaming PC she had built custom and she's lost the paperwork (if I find it I'll edit the post to include) I'm not even 100% sure which windows is running on it (sorry, not my PC and she doesn't really take notice). I've crawled through some help videos but not been able to get a reaction as yet. It moves perfectly, ctrl alt del does not work to bring up anything neither do f2 or del bring up the bios menu as it should. After an hour of black screen I restarted and now the screen simply stays black, the cursor is present and the little blue loading icon is flickering above it. They showed up again and I thought it was fixed but on the next restart it had a black screen with "Repairing Disks, this could take over an hour."Īfter 2 hours the screen went black. For several restarts it auto'd to the Bios menu and couldn't find any bootable drives. She loaded the PC once successfully today and it then crashed. Trying to fix my wife's Desktop PC and for the life of me I can't figure out what happened.
